Canadian Peace Alliance
The Canadian Peace Alliance (CPA) is Canada's largest umbrella peace organization. Since its foundation in 1985 the organization has been helping member groups to act as a broad network, in order to provide a strong, coordinated voice for peace issues at the national level.

Canadian Voice of Women for Peace
Since its foundation in 1960, the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace/ La Voix Canadiennes des Femmes pour la Paix has worked locally, nationally and internationally on issues related to peace, social justice, human rights and development, always seeking to promote a woman's and a feminist's perspective.

Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade (COAT)
COAT is a national network of individuals and organizations in Canada that began in late 1988 to organize opposition to ARMX '89, which was the country's largest weapons bazaar. COAT has continued to expose and oppose Canada's role in the international arms trade, particularly where there is trade to governments which are engaged in war or which violate human rights. Since its formation, the Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade (COAT) has made significant contributions to Canada's peace movement.

Operation Objection
As you read this, the Canadian military is embarking on its largest recruitment effort in at least 15 years. General Rick Hillier and the Canadian Armed Forces have launched a coordinated military recruitment campaign called Operation Connection to exponentially increase the number of recruiters throughout Canada. ACT for the Earth is launching a pan-Canadian counter-recruitment campaign - Operation Objection - in direct response to Canada's war in Afghanistan and this dramatic rise in military recruitment from coast to coast.

StopWar.ca - Vancouver's Anti-war Coalition
StopWar.ca, formerly the November 17th Peace Coalition, is a broad based coalition of over 180 organizations, businesses and individuals that have responded to international calls for days of action against the war, beginning November 17th, 2002. They are continuing to organize against the war on Iraq and for peace and justice in the Middle East. They see this work as including education, mass mobilization and lobbying.

The War Resisters Support Campaign is a broad-based coalition of community, faith, labour and other organizations and individuals that have come together to support U.S. soldiers seeking asylum in Canada because they refuse to fight in the illegal war in Iraq.

This website is a collaborative project of the Canada Haiti Action Network, a grassroots group of solidarity activists based in most provinces across Canada.
