March 17, 2007 Peace Rally/March & Discussion Forum
Part of an International Day of Action to demand the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. An end to the funding for war was a major theme of this action in the U.S., while in Canada anti-war activists also highlighted the need to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and for an end to violence in Haiti and Somalia.

October 28, 2006 Peace Rally & March
As part of a Pan-Canadian Day of Action to demand Canada Bring The Troops Home Now, the Windsor Peace Coalition hosted this wet but successful event. Despite the weather, more than 100 citizens attended and made their voices heard. In general, the day was a success for Canadians all across the country where similar actions were held.

March 19, 2005 March & Rally
Hosted by the Windsor Peace Coalition to mark the 2nd Anniversary of the U.S.-led Invassion of Iraq. The rally was arranged as part of an international day of action, and was a proud day for our group. We led a loud and energetic precession down Ouellette Avenue from Jackson Park all the way to Dieppe Gardens on the riverfront, where many community leaders gave brief speeches. The action was well attended by a very diverse crowd, as the photos will show.

Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2004 Bush Out of Ottawa!
On November 29, 2004, members of the Windsor Peace Coalition were joined by students and other community supporters, for a bus trek that took a level of dedication not found in everyone. With the financial support of CAW Locals 200 & 444, we were able to fill to capacity a charter bus and venture to Ottawa to "Say No To Bush", along with many other Canadians and Americans. The group traveled under cover of the night, Nov. 29, arrived in Ottawa with bright skies Nov. 30, participated in the full day's activities, and again traveled under cover of the night to arrive home on the sunny morning of Dec. 1, 2004. What a trip!
